How The Hippo Becomes Heroic
Our specialization is taking your data and making it accessible, useful, and transformational to your company. Data is one of the critical assets for companies and it is the most underutilized. The cost to transform, store, and process data is a large endeavor for many medium and large sized companies which leads to the project never getting started.
Heroic Hippo
The amount of data and the immovable nature of that data based on its size. Our expertise is in understanding what is available, mobilizing it, and communicating what you want to know from it. When this process is done properly, companies can make decisions based on actionable insights they were previously unaware of and this makes companies a lot of money. We turn your data into the Heroic Hippo.

A Little History
The term “big data” was coined in 2005 and soon became a buzzword for companies wanting to appear innovative. Companies have been told to collect, store, and utilize data but very little training has been done on how to utilize and manage from the immense amount of data which was created. The costs associated with the storage and manipulation of the data have decreased significantly but the amount of data being collected and available has increased even more substantially. Cloud storage and cloud processing have become the most common way to take advantage of this problem but the understanding of how to navigate the new technology is a substantial issue.
Today, words like machine learning(ML), artificial intelligence(AI), and quantum processing have become the buzzword. Though mentioned often, ML and AI, along with quantum processing, exist in very few companies and are very costly to implement. The increase in awareness of data has also created a highly competitive job market which pushes companies to invest in a data science team. The team, if done right, likely will consist of 3 to 4 high salary individuals who have very different skillsets which are hard to evaluate prior to hiring. Unfortunately, most companies choose to employ an individual as a data analyst to bolster their sales offering.
The accessibility and manipulation of data should not be a venture companies do alone and we are here to help and provide a path towards efficiency when implementing a business intelligence component into your business.
